Introduction

The birth, marriage, and death records of the church in Mędrzechów, Poland have been indexed. These indices are based on microfilmed copies of Roman Catholic parish records made by the Genealogical Society in Salt Lake City, Utah. The compiler of this index is believed to be John Dudek. PGSA acquired disk copies of the index years ago but they were not labelled as to their source. The LDS library has a book version of the index by John Dudek, so it's likely we have John to thank for this work. The films used in compiling the index and which should be consulted for verification of information are films 1895996, items 2-14 which contains birth, marriage and death records, and film 1895997 items 1-5 which contains death records.
