Jubilee Book Index Search

This online index is a compilation of names appearing in Jubilee, History and Financial books published by parishes to commemorate special events in their church history. See list of Indexed Books.

The Polish Museum of America, Chicago IL, would appreciate the donation of Polish Parish Jubilee Books that are not in their Archives. For current Archive book listing, see below. Send to PMA Archives, 980 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60622.

The Polish Museum of American Archives will, for a fee, search the indexed Polish Parish Jubilee books identified on this Website for your family members. These books, in most cases, when printed did not contain an index to effectively facilitate a timely and accurate search. The PGSA volunteers are currently indexing these books for the archives.

For the Jubilee books that have already been indexed (as shown on the Jubilee Book Web page), a $5 fee per book is requested for the search plus $1 for each page copy requested in that book. Attach a copy of Jubilee Book Web search results printout with the requested Name and Pages hi lighted or circled. Use the Jubilee Book Request Form.

Enter information into any or all of the fields below.

Surname:
First name:

exact match: only exact matches will be found (e.g., Adam will only find Adam)
match first: enter the first part of name to be matched (e.g., Adam will find Adam, Adamik, Adamowski).

wildcard search: enter any part of the name (e.g., Adam will find Adam, Adamik, Adamowski, and Hadam).

Remember that gender will change the surname endings from -cki, -ski to -cka, -ska for females. In the US, in the last 50 years or so, females used the -cki,-ski surname endings. You can use "match first" to get best results.
